About Our School

Sweet Pea Montessori is a Wildflower Montessori school for infants and toddlers located in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We collaborate with families to nurture the minds and spirits of our students in an authentic Montessori environment. We strive for equity, community, and connections with nature.

Cheyenne Richardson

Co-Head of School

Nido Guide

Cheyenne has over ten years of experience as a Montessori educator and holds an AMI Assistant to Infancy Certificate from the Montessori Institute in Colorado. Cheyenne is also a full-spectrum doula who specializes in postpartum care through an indigenous-informed lens. She deeply respects the complex, beautiful, and highly transformative time between 0-3 and is honored to support children and their families as part of her life's work.

Victoria

Co-Head of School 

Toddler Guide

Victoria has worked with families as a social worker and as an educator her entire career. She is an AMI-trained Children's House Guide and has spent considerable time working with children from birth to three as well. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, and being outdoors.

Nido Assistant

Suzi holds an AMI Assistant’s Certificate for ages 0-6, and over a decade of experience in Montessori Nido environments. As an educator, they’re passionate about de-centering whiteness as a default in curriculum, creating a safe space for children to explore their own gender, and supporting the needs of neurodiverse kids and parents.
